Pointless Announcements

Wow, today has really sucked so far. Debating putting my two week notice in.

 

Some days I like to just sit around the house and fantasize about being divorced.

 

Is there anything I hate more than filling out applications? Well, yes, but I'm not doing any of those other things right now. *grumble grumble* At any rate, cross your fingers, eh?

i have some snapperheadz farmhouse ale. just beyond the door is a deck overlooking a marsh. i want to sit on the aforementioned deck consuming one or more of the aforementioned beverages, and i would do these things were it not for the thunder, lightening and rain.

 

i confess to having been flush with a sense of being called ishmael for a minute, but then i figured out that were i to remain flush with being called ishmael i would have to detail the entire beer production process and that of iron chairs and decks in addition to having to opine about new england weather AND daydream of sleeping with the harpoonist (who wields a large and well-formed implement, let me tell you) when all i wanted was an optimized place to sit while drinking a beer. and now there's a joke that i shall not forebear to make.

 

My new hard drive arrived today after only two days but of course I still have to download the .ISO file for the OS now. Yay.

Spent the afternoon flopping on my better-than-sex couch, getting a blowjob, drinking Double Dead Guy and watching Netflix streaming stuff.

Netflix is pretty gnarly. I just realized they have like 18 friggin' seasons of Law & Order. Mother of God, I'm going to make such an ass groove.

 

Better watch it, or your ass will spread, and then your stomach will follow.

 

Woo Hoo! Typing this from the laptop running Linux Mint 13 on Firefox. I will get Opera on this tomorrow, but to state the obvious any OS that defaults to Firefox and does not even give the option of Internet Explorer is a very good thing. Figured out easily enough how to get my wireless stuff to load, and so far this distro has been damn easy to use and very promising. Debian based+powerful CLI=win.
