Three more days. I can do this.

Man, this week feels like it's dragging. There's nothing to look forward to this Wednesday. No new Naruto. :(

So I gamble a little. It's not a major issue in my life. I usually set aside a few hundred for NFL and the NBA every year and when it's gone it's gone. Some years it's gone before mid season other years I've paid for nice vacations after the Finals or Superbowl. This year I lost $200 on the NBA and quit, just wasn't my year. The lady I've been seeing plays the Mexican lottery. I've always considered lotteries a tax on the mathematically challenged, something I've repeatedly told her. I had a co-worker who won one of the first million dollar drawings in Oregon. She was a degenerate gambler and was broke in less then two years. I've never heard of anyone winning the Mexican lotteries... until this morning. My SO hit the damn thing for 200K pesos, right now about 15k in USD. Considering she plays .50 cents a week I figure she's up regardless of how long she's been playing it. I also figure I'll never hear the end of this but I know who's buying dinner Friday.

I am incredibly unmotivated to do anything productive. Hence, I'm in this thread.

my biggest accomplishment this morning was finishing that personal photoshop project that had been on my mind. Beyond that I will try to work on some pictures, and hopefully order that drive for the laptop. Seeing the system bluescreen and do a kernel dump at increasingly not random intervals is awesome but being able to trust it would be even better.

This may mark me as "old" in all but physical years but I am more likely to agree with that than disagree. This reminded of this classic character instantly:

and I have to say that as brilliant as Red was in the visual medium, he did his best work on his radio show. The "mean widdle kid" bit works so much better on there just to give one example.

Yeah, I'm not missing the idea of rush hour.

It took me 30 minutes just to get on the subway today. I must have watched six or seven trains go by.

Is this before before or after the beatdown between the_jazz and ZombieSquirrel? Main performance has to be: "ZombieSquirrel takes down the secretary that has since moved on just because she can"

    late edit/addition:
Plan9 is no doubt a badass, but Cayvmann pulls off that Joker look quite well in that "fixed" picture from his wedding, and his nefarious henchman just might tip the fight in his favour.
on that note, a photoshop idea comes to mind.........

If the TFP community were to put together a fund to train me in MMA for six months, I would totally challenge Plan9 to a match. Seriously.

He'd have to wear a Mexican wrestler mask though, because the post-production of putting a smiley face over his visage would be too laborious for the YouTube vid we'd then share with you.

I'd get that Rollins-ranting, Misfits-blaring, cereal-eating motherfucker to tap the fuck out!

Two skinny white guys having at it like they were D-list action "stars."

    Who's in?

I can probably spare a few pesos. How's this work? Oh and my SO wants to know if you'll be doing this naked. If so she'll chip in. If not she's appalled by violence and wants no part of it.

I didn't want to play the homoerotic angle if I didn't need to, but if it will help with donations, I suppose I can promise that we'll strip, wax, and oil up before we start.
