    I recently set up an entry in Windows Task Manager to automatically shutdown my PC at 11:00 p.m. every night.

    It seems to have given me an odd sense of freedom. I get more reading done. That, and I end up going to bed sooner. That, and I have slept better.

    I've read "no screens close to bedtime" before, but now that I've tried it, I know that it works.

    Finally decided to spend the birthday money on the gift card from my younger sister on the Blu-Ray box set of the Matrix Films. I was pondering buying the Star Wars prequels on Blu-Ray but I am all but certain that the only way I can even come close to sitting through those again would be listening to Mike Nelson & company destroy them on the Rifftrax audio track. And the chance of retinal bleeding is still too high even then.
    I actually mostly like the Matrix films and it has been long enough that I can watch them again. The excellent "music only" audio track they have on the DVDs is is an excellent choice as well in many scenes like the lobby scene.
