    ROID RAGE!!!! Which one that got you on?

    I will be the ONLY one in the Office today. (Someone is on leave. Another person is sick. Haven't hired a new receptionist. Conference for the advisors....) Totally cool, but that means we have no support staff to answer the phones or handle students when they randomly come in. My dean expects me to do that. I told him I don't know front office stuff. His response, "You're smart. You'll figure it out." Smart enough to answer a phone sure and figure out academic guidelines or whatever...I'm not bothered by that. I have my own shit to do and don't have time for this crap. PLUS it would be wonderful if I could go get some coffee, but I can't leave the office unattended.
