    Interesting statement when the iPod is working better for this than both the desktop and laptop. Ugh, 4 GB of ram is not enough for the main system and seriously thinking of fixing the laptop with a *nix installation to replace windows.
    edit: well that make it easier, the laptop hard drive is failing . Fortunately I have the tools to work on that on situation after helping some friends transfer data from a toshiba laptop with a dead motherboard.

    Sadly, no. I need to get a new one (or two). The one I have is pretty ratty, and so it only really serves as my editor's uniform during the colder months.

    I think I have a navy blue one somewhere, but I need to dig it out if I'm going to wear it. Do you think it would help?
