Well, shit, I have hypertension.

 

I watched that new/recent (I am going with new personally) Captain America film today and thought it was quite decent. Only fell asleep for a brief bit and that was just because I have yet to go bed since yesterday. Will take care of that soon enough.

I'm tired and I have a bitchy attitude and was just informed that I have meetings all day July 12, 13, 14th and 15th. fuck me. Luckily, there's another week

 

i just signed the contract for the book. it'll come out in the historical materialism series fro brill in holland.
i've not done this and not done this for a long time. i was sick of the project even though it was a really good project. and i was more sick of almost everything around it...academic world, all of it. so i did other things. and i like doing those other things.
but i'm really pleased that this opportunity came up now.
i really am.
