    Me I am Irish and French Canadian. My Grandfather was born in Nova Scotia and the other grandfather was straight from Donegal Ireland.

    So I had a visit today originally scheduled for 1pm that got pushed back to 4pm. Then it got pushed back to 6pm. As I was half way there, they told me it would be closer to 8pm. Finally happened at 7pm.

    That's what I heard from my buddy's son. :D
    I asked if it was a great film, and he said that didn't describe it. I said, was it awesome, and he said it was "freakin' awesome!".
    This from a kid that was born in 2000 and didn't grow up reading the source material.

    From reviews I've seen and SirLance 's awesome review, ;) my buddy's kid, looks like this appeals to a wide audience.

    ZOMG, awesome show tonight. Went and saw one of my favorite regional bands, Floater. The show was at a recently reopened 1920s movie palace with beautiful Italian Renaissance style architecture. Floater hadn't played here in a long time because there wasn't a venue the right size for them. The lead singer shared how excited he was to be back in town, and that he hoped to return again and again to this new-old venue. The venue isn't completely restored, so the show tonight was partially a fundraiser towards more work on the theater. When it's finally fully restored, it is going to be really beautiful.

    Couldn't sleep again. Finally got to sleep sometime around 1:15. Finally got up at 5:05 after two long bouts of tossing and turning. Not sure why either. Nothing especially stressful or anxious, no caffiene, had two glasses of wine with dinner but nothing crazy, no late night snack, not much sugar. Ugh. The doc gave me something to help me sleep but I want to limit it's use to nights where it is absolutely crucial I get a full night's sleep, and weekend nights typically are not in that catagory, nor do I want to use it more than about once a week.

    He got hit and killed by a car on the highway Thursday. They identified him by the ear tag. :(
