Just saw that GIMP 2.8 was finally released today!
Odd for me to say this, but I will get to it "soon"/likely tomorrow, especially for the laptop. I am already paying the monthly subscription fee for Photoshop CS5 and getting quite comfortable with that.
Will have to give the new GIMP a good shakedown though so I am current on that as well.

 

Can you get your hands on a VW microbus? I kind of feel that this is a key factor in becoming a gypsy.

Middle school kids are the best. No one ever understood why I preferred teaching them to younger kids. They are so interesting and funny as hell. I hope your interview went swimmingly!

My bloody dogs figured out how to open doors last night. Next to being impressed at their new skills, I was also impressed at the impact they can make on interior furniture and other accessories when left alone for 2 hours.

How the fuck two dogs (one of them weighing less than 10kg) can move a 90kg Persian carpet from one end of the property to the other, destroy a bunch of shoes, take a dump in the hallway, half-empty the 20kg Pedigree bag, and then still be completely hyperactive and running around like crazed bunnies... I do not understand.

Heh. Whatever floats your boat, eh.

Hah, funny story:

Current girlfriend's former best friend and current do-nothing is actually scouring the country for that exact vehicle because she wants to become a no-shit hippie. I guess nobody told her that you don't need a specific piece of shit vehicle to become a human piece of shit. Rusty Mustang works fine.
