Pointless Announcements

Two days ago spent the entire night drinking with a Dutch mofo, yesterday I had a serious business meeting with this Indian chick and American guy (who went crazy about my dog), and today I spent a good two hours discussing a large project with this South African guy (whilst he put the Aussie rugby team down, and I did the same to the South African team... there are very good reasons why our conversation took 2 hours) and while sitting outside in the sun and patting my dog like an evil genius à la Doctor Evil.

Love my work.

 

Today, I will be submitting an observation to our company's medical ethics hotline.
I don't want to cause trouble, but I can't get this pet's face out of my mind.
I have to say something to someone.

Man, that would explain so much about the two hours I spent hanging out with him. He's very zen.

He put his healing hands on my face and suddenly I've started growing a beard above my neck.

amonkie, where are you guys staying in San Diego? I've been there a lot - it's a traditional spot for my industry shindig. There's lots of cool stuff to do along the water and a bunch of great restaurants in the Gaslamp district.

On another note, sometimes spectactularly bad ideas are the most fun.

I'm really glad we don't have our meetings in the mornings. On the other hand, I don't feel like staying after work for a meeting today, either. They're all the same, and if the managers would stop repeating everything, we could compress everything into a ten minute pre-shift lineup.

In related news, I'm going to run away and become a gypsy.

 

We haven't booked a hotel yet, but my parents go there frequently and usually try to get a place right on the water near Mission Bay. We are open to suggestions! Trying to decide between the variety of suite hotels so that we can have a little more room and also the fridge/microwave options.
