Pulled a shoulder muscle getting into the car to go have my bi-annual doctor's check-up this morning. Wtf, body??

There's a small possibility that I may be upgraded to bartender at work. On one hand, that's cool, on the other hand...meh. It seems like a lot more work for about the same amount of money. But at least I'd be allowed to roll my sleeves up.

Today sucked horribly because I felt like I failed as a therapist on a number of levels, even though none of it was actually my fault.
So my man made reservations for a fabulous dinner out before I have to fly to Boulder for 50 hours for a stupid class. I <3 this man.

 

Decided to finish watching the pilot for the new Battlestar Galactica finally. Should I watch this prequel "Caprica" first? They are both available on Netflix instant streaming which is good as my HD DVD player is broken and tossed now.
I am thinking that the female president from part 1 of the pilot is dead meat at some point but hopefully from something other than the cancer. Still not completely sold on Starbucks being female but I shall give the story development a fair chance to run its course.

I don't usually get hit very hard by celebrity deaths. This one is an exception.

I feel like crap today. I was barely able to get out of bed this morning. I don't feel sick, just crappy.

 

I felt the same way all day. Didn't get a damn thing done. Well I got out the pressure washer and hooked it up. It's still sitting out by the pool.. probably should bring it in before it walks off.

 

No karaoke on Thursdays anymore, at least for a while. Boooo.

On the other hand, now Thursday Night Chat could be a thing. If people, y'know....showed up.

 

I was thinking that part one of the miniseries had that poor little girl that never finds out about her parents before that bright flash of light ends her worries. Started from the beginning of part 2 again because it has been that long since I watched it. Cool set that reminds me of a mix of the 1950's with much more recent shows.
