No you just think you do. You'd forget to clean up after it, just like the dragon and we all remember that little episode, don't we.

That dragon only ate a couple of the local villagers and they were some of the fatter ones that ran a bit slow. Fortunately that large army of undead squirrels frightened it and helped keep it in check.

I'm not talking about villagers that needed to be Darwined, Mr. Gibson. I'm talking about the huge amount of dragon poop that was left lying all over this house that I was forced to clean up. We had this discussion when the idea of the dragon was first brought up. There's no way that we're repeating the same mistake with a dire wolf.

    End of discussion.

So am I allowed to bring my pets here then? They are a bit large but still friendly enough.

So long as we're clear that you're on Giant Bear-and-Giant Spider Cleanup Detail, no problem. But if I step in anything, they're going straight to the pound.

  10. I thought you'd finally feel like you belonged if you were surrounded by giant piles of shit.

Unfortunately last time they went to the pound the bear ate most of the animals there and half of the staff; he thought they were lunch and a light snack.
And you are more likely to be stepped on rather than step in something.

Why do you think I call TFP "home"?

Don't you realize that my online personna is 100% pure ego and therefore not something that's going to be trod upon by a something as miniscule as a giant bear?!

So do I! I would settle for a Great Dane or an Irish Wolfhound in the meantime... but I need a bigger house for that.

  15. So, QW tried to donate a couple hundred pencils to a charity organization. They declined, saying they were afraid there might be lead in them. True story.

50 laps at the pool. Felt pretty awesome, but now my eyes are burning from the chlorine.

I got a good first review in my job.
    Woo Hoo! 6 months down...

Actually it's helping my staff and knowing they like me and what I do is the best knowledge.

Ok, one of my co-mgrs considering me for Rookie of the Year was a cool thought...but actually giving to them makes me happy. (no BS)

We have a houseguest, sort of, for the next month. She's a pretty cool chick. Apparently my SO is even more crazy about me than I thought, based on her feedback from knowing him all his life.

Best part? She can totally kick his ass.

I just want a day to stay home and be lazy in bed. There's much more fun in bed than in other places.

In absolutely shocking news, I found out today two sisters 5 and under less than 18 months apart will fight over colouring books and deem this matter worthy of a "fight" involving pushing and hitting.

Wow, thinking of Bill Engvall's "here's your sign" routine. That did prompt me to look up some of the technical details about graphite on wikipedia though:
    ---
The mineral graphite /ˈɡræfaɪt/ is an allotrope of carbon. It was named by Abraham Gottlob Werner in 1789 from the Ancient Greek γράφω (graphō), "to draw/write",[4] for its use in pencils, where it is commonly called lead (not to be confused with the metallic element lead). Unlike diamond (another carbon allotrope), graphite is an electrical conductor, a semimetal. It is, consequently, useful in such applications as arc lamp electrodes. Graphite is the most stable form of carbon under standard conditions.
