    So, I found out yesterday that the doctor in our hospital is leaving. Her husband, who is also a vet, has gotten an opportunity to work in animal neurology in VA that they can't pass up. I felt like I had been punched in the stomach. She is so wonderful, I will miss her a lot.

    Sometimes the questions I get asked by customers make me want to ram my head into a brick wall.

    You want me to quote this business? You don't have a parts list? You don't have volume? You are the procurement specialist in charge of this product, but you don't know who you can get the parts list or EAUs from, I need to figure out who that is for you and ask them instead of you, even though it is basically your only job? Yeah, this sounds like it's going to be a really smooth project, I can't wait to get to work with you more. *facepalm*

    I sent the wife flowers the other day for our anniversary.

    Protip for you guys out there - ALWAYS send the flowers to her office so that all the other women are jealous and make a fuss over it. ;)

    She finally sent me pics of them, she left them at work to enjoy them for a few days so I hadn't seen them yet.
