wow, that is huge!

 

Nah... just do it for me... not that good really... i can play rhythm and a few lead peices fair enough to keep up with the talent. i do enjoy singing, tho i dont know how well others enjoy it LOL...
That was the first time ive really played with someone else, and it was really cool... the guy with the mandolin was awesome! we did knockin on heavens door and a kinda country-fried slowed-way-down punky-bluegrass version of highway song... along with a few others and some chord progresion. it was also the first time ive played or sang with an audience of more than my wife or other family. They seemed to like it... the mandolin was talented enough to follow anything, so he let me set the pace, and just filled the whole thing in... it was the highlight of my month really...

 

probably not that much. it's a device akin to one of those singing fish on a plaque that you couldn't walk down a walgreen's aisle without being startled by a few years ago.

 

It's such a pretty day! And only 17 days until Opening Day! w00t!

 

I also have an opening day in early April that i anxiously await every year, The annual reopening of my local National Forest and OHV Trails... what's yours?

yeah, after a week of launching into 'i got friends in low places' every time you walk by, it will make for great target practice.

 

Baseball season, specifically, the Cincinnati Reds The local minor-league team's Opening Day is a week later, which I'm also excited about.

Hmmm...mentioning the National Forest makes me wanna go hiking now. It's a perfect day for it!

These damn meetings are cutting into my social life too.... I postponed some fun times on Friday to make a meeting. I may have to postpone some fun times or cancel them all together this coming week for a fucking meeting. I really hope that doesn't happen.
