    There are ways to see virtually any race or sporting event on your PC. www.justin.tv is one source, I have more bookmarked on another PC, if you are interested let me know. Also I have watched PPV boxing matches on SOPcast, which generally works very well if you don't mind downloading a helper app.

    I have completely polished 2 of the 4 essay questions for this take-home midterm exam. The other 2 are in rough form, plenty of text just need to impose some order on the random bits of chaos. Crossing my fingers that I finish soon and have some time to practice for tomorrow. It had to be this week that the music director at church chose all songs that are new to me, for which I must learn the alto part, then carry the section acapella. I'm really starting to hate lent.

    went to the flea market today w. all of the kids. there was a guy there w. a suitcase of old photos and other ephemera he had found in his attic. i sorted through them and found about 30 photos, cards and such that i purchased for $13. Some of them date back as far as circa 1870's. One of oldest is of a group of 10 girls, obviously sisters. fascinating. i love this kind of stuff.

    Getting ready for the wine walk. I'm going to catch the bus downtown in about half an hour to meet up with a friend once she gets off work. I'll have about half an hour to waste--hellooo, bookstore.
