Story of my life. People are too busy to read an entire email, but not too busy to turn it into a 5 email conversation covering nothing that was left out of the first email.

Short attention spans is probably the most common thing in the business world, whether it's B2B communication or talking to the end customer...

Who the fuck thinks it's a good idea to have a 4:30 meeting with the head of a division? Talk about a waste of time.

Playing this "True Story of Puss in Boots" on Netflix for my youngest kids. It is so god awful that anything else would be vast improvement. It does have sharp animation but that is about all I can say in the "nice" department about it.

Not all arrhythmia are the result of atherosclerosis. I think you misunderstand my post. An echo can rule out atherosclerosis as the cause of an arrhythmia, but if the arrhythmia is intermittent an echo may not reveal it. The most common heart arrhythmia is atrial fibrulation, and it is most commonly associated with stenosis (shortening) of the mitral valve. However, if the a-fib is paroxysmal, a patient might experience symptoms but an echo could still miss the arrhythmia while revealing some underlying problems, like stenosis, atrial size, etc. Sorry, didn't mean to lecture, but I never said an echo would make a perfect screening tool for heart arrythmias.

For crappy TV reruns, King of Queens is underrated IMO.

    No apology necessary, SirLance.
I wasn't arguing anything but it's unwise for a man of 66 years to not get a yearly physical examination as when I commented it was said that Jones did not have a yearly exam. I have no idea if the doctor could have caught something; I had two ER doctors miss heart failure twice--no guarantees anywhere. More to my mentioning it, I've known folks who skip seeing a doctor out of fear when they should see one, then live--only to rue the day they didn't go sooner.
