    My boss sent me an invite this morning for a business dinner tonight 2 1/2 hours from home (but towards the direction I have to go tomorrow anyway). It's not with customers, management/sales types from our corporation that collaborate on one of the larger accounts. I politely declined and said I had another commitment. We were on the phone a few minutes ago discussing something else, and before I hung up he said "so you have plans tonight, eh?" I said "yes, this is my one evening in the last four days to be at home". He said "So you are telling me that being with your wife is more important than being with all of your business partners?" I paused for a second and said "Yes". He said (mostly joking, we have a good relationship and he has a dry sense of humor) "You just remember that when she's mad at you or won't give you sex." I said "Well, if you fire me, are you taking half my stuff?"


    He busted out laughing and said "Makes sense, see you in the morning." :D

    I hate the hour lost of sleep and it being that much harder to wake up for the next couple weeks.

    I love that it will now be possible to sneak a round of golf in after work every now and then.
