I assure you that, in some small corner of the president's mind, it is real.

  2. Lights and sirens. Every piece of emergency equipment in town was on my block. They strolled through the yard across the street and a few doors down shining flashlights, then packed up and left.

Earlier today, a minvan burst into flames in the parking lot at the store. A 911 call, 5 police cars (but no firetrucks?) and a tow truck had it all cleared up within 30 minutes.

    Excitement!

Sitting here watching the weather while my wife and daughter are sleeping. I made them sleep downstairs cause were under a tornado watch til 6am. And there's a twister headed close to me according to the weather. I hope I don't end up like dorothy.

So are you saying that red shiny pumps are not your style or that you don't want to be captured in glorious technicolor wearing them?

Kill Bill Vol. 1 put me to sleep at least three times (even when I was awake to start with) but I finished it somehow because I had rented it and wanted "my money's worth". Didn't happen unfortunately.

Dude, I could sit through the whole 4 hours straight of the Kill Bill movies without moving, before I could watch 2001 again.
I made it through all of the movie last night, but it was so fucking weird and... and... and... and fucking weird.
I had to go to wikipedia to see if I could glean any insight into the movie. It helped, but it was no less boring.

They showed 2010 right after 2001, but I just couldn't force myself to watch.

I liked Kill Bill part two, but the story was so utterly bad on part one that even the MST3K treatment with Joel or Mike and the robots would be hard pressed to motivate me watch it again. The beautiful sword and superb cinematography were the only things that made it almost decent to watch.
It has been a loooong time since I tried to watch 2001: A Space Odyssey - I would rather just listen to the music featured throughout than sit and watch it from what I recall.
Somebody brought in "Star Wars Episode 1: Menace of the nonexistent phantom script and retinal bleeding inducing schlock" last night but fortunately that was easy enough to ignore. Saw enough to remind me why those prequels do not exist as far as I am concerned, and I am judging Episode 3 sight unseen aside from a few clips featured on a history channel special that killed whatever desire I might have had to watch it.

According to IMDb, they're making Kill Bill, Vol. 3. Don't know what to think about that.

  18. Sounds like another TFP Productions (TM) release. Bill returns as a zombie and eats Uma's brain.
