  2. We've had very few donations over the year. I'm going to be short soon as some personal things are keeping me from putting up the money. If you have something small to contribute it's greatly appreciated. Please put your screen name as well so that I can give you credit. Click here: Donations

Ah Speed ... I couldn't resist seeking, and I found this. Gerald Mohr. Verrry nice! I like the way he is given the 'close to the mike' position during the action. It's like the 'viewer' lives in his head throughout. Incredible POV.

Gerald is one the main actors in the film version of Treasure of the Sierra Madre that squabbles with Bogart's character over the fortune in gold before their unfortunate and likely deserved ending.
His voice was ideal for the role of Marlowe and the wonderful writing on the show was done by some of the same people that helped make Gunsmoke so memorable on the radio when it premiered in 1952.

After seeing a acquaintance that went through a divorce: I guess we have been labeled his ex-wife's friends, and that is fine by me!

Don't feel bad, Fly. Fremen is just jealous because you can grow a better mustache on your ass than he can on his face.

I failed at my last heart failure appointment a month ago with my blood pressure creeping upward
so I was given 28 days to rectify the situation through an austerity plan--eat clean or get tossed on another heart pill (right now I'm on the standard triad).

I am seriously trying but the dying of my FIL and all that led up to it perfectly coincided (he literally was hospitalized--in the same hospital on the same day as I got the order(!) cut into me being as perfect as I'd wanted...so no pressure at all right this minute as I prepare to go get the verdict. :(

  14. Fangirl, my wife uses this to control her blood pressure. She discussed with her Dr first, as you should also
    good luck

Ok, so I help run another forum. It's much larger and less friendly than TFP, but very entertaining IMO. We also survive mostly on donations from generous members. Once a year, on the anniversary of the board opening, we put up a donation link. The link stays up for one month (2/16-3/16) each year. Typically we get more than enough donations to cover a year's costs, so we've started to put a little nest-egg in the bank for future times when the donations may not be as good, for software/server upgrades, etc. So donations for this year started late last night. One of our members just dropped a $1200 donation on us. Yes, the transaction already cleared, and he let us know it wasn't an accident. Holy Crap!

Yeeeah, I just spent all of my morning off writing erotica. My husband teased me a bit for it, but I can guarantee he'll like the results later.

I think I just made a cranky manager's (not mine, but a counterpart of his) head explode.

If you want to send a pissy email out to a group of people explaining how you can't do your job right because I didn't do part of it for you, when in fact I did submit the reports and information that is required of me, you just missed it in your inbox, expect me to reply pointing out the exact details that you made up and that I have proof are false.

I usually try really hard to be 'politically correct' in how I word emails and speak in meetings, but certain people who try to bulldoze others without even having their facts straight just irritate the snot out of me. /rant
