Pointless Announcements

Enjoying a day full of productivity, having stopped wasting my time on pointless pursuits.

 

I had an all day baking session with my daughter we made vanilla and chocolate cupcakes from scratch. We had so much batter that we also made a vanilla square cake AND a chocolate heart shaped cake. Now I want a kitchenaid stand mixer Next week we plan on making dark chocolate choc chip cookies and sugar cookies. Have to please both my chocolate loving daughter and vanilla loving son.

The Woman in Black, Final Destination 5 and Don't be Afraid of the Dark. Not exactly super hardcore horror films like Audition, Saw series and Hostel, but enough to keep my attention.

What IS wrong with your thumb? Are you seeing a doctor? A friend of mine's thumb is getting a lot less worse than it could have, because she's got to the doctor, who's helping her to not become old age's bitch any sooner than she has to. Take care.

Er ... my own pointless announcement is that I have got a pair of cold-weather sports tights today, and that ought to stop my legs getting so cold on walks this winter. I'm wearing them now, just to test them.

 

I am officially addicted to Swamp People. Mostly because it is a bit horrifying and I like their accents.
Plus, I can have vicarious violence.

 

Paperwork is done, it's time for drinking!

 

I'm not sure who Anophthalma is, but I looked up the word, and if I recall correctly, there might have been someone with something like that in Offspring.

I definitely want to see The Woman in Black.
I believe I saw FD5 (it was ok)
Haven't seen any of the others except the first Saw and Hostel movies.
They weren't my cup of tea.

Btw, have you seen a movie from a few years back called Lady in White?
It stars a young Lucas Haas as a boy who sees the ghost of a little girl, and the mystery that surrounds her.

My favorite guy on there is Troy.
