Pointless Announcements

We literally spent several grand a bit over a year ago to upgrade to a King bed from a Queen because she couldn't bear locking him out of the bedroom. He doesn't sleep on the bed every night, but he does probably half the time. And he has his own room and Queen bed!

He's also tremendously jealous when we pet the cat or show that he's not the focus of our world. Not violently, but where he'll just get in between us or put his head against us to get petted himself. I can't imagine introducing another dog at this point.

 

I shake my head at what it says sometimes too. I mean, it's technically a guest bedroom. We have a basic three bedroom house, nothing huge or fancy. One bedroom is my office (no bed in there), my job allows me to work from home quite a bit. One bedroom is the master bedroom, my wife and I's room. The third bedroom is a guest room with our old queen bed in it. We call it 'Stanley's room' because that's where he usually naps during the day, and where he sleeps when we have him locked out of our room (at least a couple nights a week). Obviously when we have guests overnight the bedding gets changed and it reverts back to the guest room.

First world white people problems for sure.

I was just out in it myself, but fortunately I'm far enough SW that I don't get anything from the lake effect. So last I heard I should be dodging all but an inch or two of this one.

 

No WAY you are getting away from me that easily missy!

 

Since he can't read, I lied and told him noodle wanted him on her ignore list. Now he's bummed.

 

He has a terribly rough life.

Apparently I make for a comfy napping spot.

 

Yeah, arriving home after a long stressful drive home sure beats the alternative.
