Yes, but a "corner office" smack in the middle of the secured section of patient's wing of Dr. McNutter's home for the mentally special makes a difference.
of course most of us here are locked in the rooms in the same section - and are not given an office though.

5r44e trans in one of our delivery vehicles... 2003 Ranger 2.3 with 282,000 miles on it. We were quoted 3 days to tear down, rebuild, install. Seems parts were more of a problem than they anticipated... then there was a bad seal... and then... and then...
Got it back this afternoon, finally. So far, it appears they've done a good job. I just wish they would have given a more realistic time estimate. I had delivery staff losing hours and income. I hate that. It restricted my ability to serve my customers. I REALLY hate that!

 

One more reason why I love my car.
It said 48.2 mpg on average before I had to sit through two rotations of a stoplight.

 

This week is so much better, not. The power of positive thinking for sure.

 

Sounds to me like they didn't know how to build it. 3 to 4 days seems about right. Just depending on parts. I (used to could and still can, see my other thread) can pretty much order all the parts I need before I even take it out. Every know and then you have to order another part or two, but 8 days seems ridiculous. Im going to guess that either it didn't move forward and or reverse, or it was missing 2nd and 5 th gear and or 3 rd gear.

 

Listening to the Celtic Woman on youtube. I was already planning on buying their albums but this reminds me of how good a decision that would be.

They told me some story about the pump being different than other 5r transmissions he's worked on. It's disappointing in that they've done great work on other occasions, including my Chevy van. I went into this with total confidence. Not feeling it now.

So the phone rings and the Vonage Caller ID gives me "Phone Scam" and 567 ...and so on for the number. Oddly enough I chose to not answer it and and heard no message left.
