Is the USAFA really that hard? All you've done for the last year is bitch, bitch, bitch... at least you got in.

Some of us had to fill sandbags and poke roadside bombs just to get to fucking community college.

 

But I don't wanna be an adult. They smell and are stupid doodie faces.

 

it's not the schoolwork that's killing me. don't get me wrong, i absolutely love they they're paying me and i have no living expenses and at the end of it all i get a world-class degree. some of the rules and some of the pointless stuff gets frustrating. why the hell they feel the need to make us march is beyond me. then theres the recent rash in serious crimes happening here. i'm starting to get seriously disillusioned about this place

maybe filling sandbags and poking roadside bombs should be part of the admissions process...

 

Lots done this morning:

Applied for graduation.
Filed my taxes.
Paid my car insurance.
Found my old micro professor (yay, internet!) and emailed her (and two other professors) a request for a letter of recommendation for my application to the honor society.
Gathered up information for a fax to the dcf (applying for food stamps again, yikes, fucking food is so expensive).
Sent an email to my algebra professor asking for an extension on my homework due date (he said yes!).
Ordered absentee ballots for all elections through 2014 from our local democratic party office (I had no idea you could do that!).
And made an appointment for Simba next Friday to get his yearly vax and heartworm test done...at work. I am excited about my co-workers finally getting to meet my boy. And the best part is, it will all be free! Yahoo!

Feeling a delicious sense of accomplishment this morning. Now I have about 30 minutes to lay around and do nothing before getting ready for work.

I filed taxes today too. It is the last time filing married, jointly. My federal refund is $3 more than what I owe the state. My ex is "letting" me keep the $3. Gee thanks. That really helps me.
