Pfft, there isn't enough room for feet in the footwells. I'm going to need a bigger vehicle before I start doing goofy stuff again.

 

Recycled all the old computer hardware (desktops, printers, phones) from the storage facility. No longer hoarding old parts.

 

I hate crawling on floors to work on computers. I actually just hate computers...

 

Despite being up and moving around at both 4 am AND 8 am, I fell back to sleep, and woke up at 11:10. I had to leave for work at 11:20. Yick.

 

Be careful what you do with those old parts.

 

Back in my younger years my parent had a IBM PS/1 running a blazing 286 with 10 Mghz CPU (it was outdated at the time, the 386sx 16 Mghz was the latest and greatest), and then the Gateway 2000 486 DX2 66 Mghz (talk about a NICE upgrade that cost $3000 if memory serves) that replaced it. The desk we were using was in a room underneath the stairs and to get nearly anything important on that setup with the 486 you had to crawl back in this lovely tight space that had no room whatsoever.
That Ps/1 was a good way to learn DOS, I started on 4.01 and upgraded it myself to 5.0 by copying the necessary exe file(s) from another system.

 

One of my College's students was mentioned in the University President's Impact Report today. The President wouldn't even KNOW about that kid if I wouldn't have gone above and beyond to get him recognized.

You've ruled out what my eye doc calls 'floaters' or in this case, 'a' floater?
In my case, permanent minor damage probably caused by too much beach time during my years in Southern California.
I've been legally blind for a long time (prior to CA) so eyes/eyesight are a big concerns. My floaters starting showing up in my 30's and are the least of my eye concerns so this could very well be a smallish thing. I did read your update where you mentioned having to go in to get your eyes checked anyway & making an appt. so you'll know what's up soon.
Try not to stress. I think you'll be good.

I got to talk to Sugar Daddy tonight, and two of my favorite people FINALLY got here.
I actually feel a lot better than I did a few hours ago. Just two more days and I'll be on a plane home.

 

I would kill for a snow blower and total recall today....
