Pointless Announcements

In Finland, heh. There was a woman from New Hampshire in another forum. We often had similar kind of weather and joked, it's like we were neighbours.

 

2nd day in a row I was sent home early from work because of foul weather. I'm beginning to love working for the government!

 

I sympathize. I'm slowly recovering from my hubby's cold...

 

THE SCIENCE CENTER IS DOING A DINOSAUR EXHIBIT AT THE END OF THE MONTH!

.....yes, I am excited about this. I am ALSO excited that they'll be doing a Laser Retro show the week of my birthday. The Cure, Duran Duran, the Police, New Order....awesome!

 

We (Chicago-Great Lakes area) are getting Finland-like weather!? That's just not right.

Still not seeing much of a learning curve with Photoshop, just learning how to access the PS equivalents of GIMP options and how some of the new feature work . Especially some of the brand new ones in CS5.
I am already trying to use the PS keyboard shortcuts in the GIMP and having to remind myself what works for each program.

This is the "fun part" of the day where I have less than 3 hours to get ready for another shift with no real sleep all day - yay! I usually feel this kind of thing the most around 4 am.

 

so i started streaming the show 'shameless' on netflix, thinking it was the series w. william h. macy and it turned out to be the original british version, instead.
wow.
i have a new favorite show.

 

Being Human is another good BBC show on Netflix streaming.

 

God, I hate being nagged to. Story of my life.
