I either broke or dislocated the middle toe on my left foot this afternoon when I stubbed it. It now looks like a small sausage and feels like it's in a pair of Visegrips. Nearly 4 hours later and it still throbs. Going to be tough to wear dress shoes this week. Damn it.

 

Getting drunk. No more TFP for me today.

 

I have to get an actual SATA cable. My bag full of IDE cables is completely worthless for my new 1.5 TB HD. I was/am considering buying an external enclosure and going that route as it would be easy to connect to the laptop then as well.

Lordeden found my purse, which was awesome. Yay!

However, the plan he and our roommate cooked up had me ready to kill them. I soooooo owe them one. And I'm going to wait a while, let them forget about it...then...BAM!

Dude: Guys bond through all night video game nights
Me: Boys are weird.
Dude: Well, give us something better to do.
Me: Oh, women could give you guys something better to do if you weren't constantly playing video games.

 

I could think of soooo many ways to spend some time not involving video games but with the right female, and this is not just from the "deprived" line of thought here.

 

You might better have that checked out if it's not better after a while, Craven.
I don't want to alarm you, and I'm not saying this will happen, but I recently watched a House episode where a person with a broken toe almost died from the marrow leaking into their bloodstream.

Still sick. Meeting with financial advisor this morning. My 403b is still down 11.26%. While this better than the -18% in June, the current company has devalued my portfolio by over $7000 since January. Hey, guess what? No more managing MY money. I gained back the $14k I was down in 2009 with very careful investing, then we changed companies. I'm back in charge of my money again starting now.
