Pointless Announcements

Hopefully you won't have to. I climb in one almost yearly. It would be twice a year if my insurance would cover it that often. I have a bad head. My neuro likes looking at the pictures, because she thinks it's amazing that I am even able to walk.

I have an MR-V tomorrow, too. I'm absurdly nervous because they'll give me the film disks to take home. Which means I'll be examining the changes in my white and gray matter in the past 5 years.
It'll take less time in the cage and with the noise so I'm hoping that I end up with less of a headache after this time.

 

Made a pretty good dent in packing yesterday and today. Tomorrow will be even more productive, since we'll have a moving van and some friends.

My right wrist & hand have been giving me trouble, though...overstressed them at work (hit overtime this past week.) Kind of a bummer that I can't move heavy stuff by myself. But we're still making really good progress. We should be fully moved in by this weekend...then I have to work again, and then I'll spend next week getting the house organized.

I've never had a vascular study of the head. When I had the Zombie Arm, the did ultrasounds etc. When they did the contrast this week , I swear I felt like I peed myself, but they insisted that only happens with the iodine, which I'm allergic to. So they use Galladium or something.

I'll share an embarrassing MS story. My wife worked with a teacher who had MS. She had mentioned this, but I had forgotten about it (FTR/ TBF she tells me many things about her co-workers which I forget because I rarely meet any of them). When I actually met him he struggled a bit while explaining something to my wife, and I jokingly commented "Easy for you to say." She shot me a dirty look, and I immediately apologized.

 

It reminds me of a couple of movies. In one Tom Selleck is forced to have sex with a sadistic woman (assassin?), in the other Michael Douglas & Sharon Stone go at it and she has placed an ice pick under the bed.

FTR I don't think that @zombiesquirrel is quite that crazy; her husband is still alive. At least according to her posts .

 

I'm sure she didn't mean your D unless it was to grind it up and take it in pill form.

 

Marshmallow dropped for Verizon yesterday. Some things changed that I have to adjust to, but nothing earthshaking that I see, thus far.
