    I have to admit living in NJ made me lose touch with Alaska's biggest fun ride, earthquakes.
    7.1 last night hit last about 200 miles away from town.
    It was good and deep so the damn thing gave plenty of warning, that sound and vibration like a really long train is going by before the rocking starts.
    I had time to grab my shoes and coat, open the front and stand in the doorway while it was doing the worst of it.
    There was a time when I would stayed in my chair until things started falling over.
    Some friends lost bookshelves and entertainment units., closer to the quake gas lines exploded and houses went up in flames but no injuries reported so far.

    The disabling effect is, in my experience, only temporary. It may seem hard to swallow, but continuing the disabling treatment often results in a gradual reinvigoration. :D
