    Played poker up the hill again. Won $34. I'm happy with that. Need to keep reading and plugging away. It is kind of annoying when you keep seeing the same people.need to stop going during the day and try a weekend night. Maybe find a crazy drunk person willing to pay everyone at the table. Yeah, like I'm some kind of pro.

    I find it funny...even though I'm thinking about incredibly intense and abstract things,
    that I'm so aware of so much that I forget things or I'm walking in a daze... (it's different drug and high)

    Yet, I'm as interested in sleeping, taking a shit, eating my fill or attractive women or just whacking off.

    This is why my role models always enjoy their "earthy" side, their "dark" side, their humanity and quirks & foibles...as well as being incredible humans who accomplish incredible things. (Richard Feynman for example)
    You CAN think about and do Quantum Mechanics AND play the bongos.
    You CAN think about and do Charity AND go rock your ass off
    You CAN enjoy Mozart AND The Three Stooges
    You CAN look for true love AND enjoy porn
    You CAN eat a gourmet dinner AND then enjoy Taco Bell later
    And so on...

    My heroes knew that everything is NOT mutually exclusive...they enjoyed being human as well as their brilliance.
    I hate it when people are arrogant to think something is better than another.

    I'm a person who enjoys finding out from a co-worker that there are championship teams for judging milking cattle.
    That's pretty esoteric...and I believe as valuable as me being interested in extreme precision atomic clocks (optical lattice clocks with a 2 x 10^-18 uncertainty, off a second every few billion years)
    OR chasing after a pretty exotic woman that likes me for some reason
    OR discovering out that I like Trance/Electronica as well as New Age or Classical or hair bands from the 80's.

    I think I'll go read an article from Arxiv right after I whack off to some good porn...or vice versa.
    Variety is the spice of life. ;)

    Littlegirly just asked to watch Futurama. I don't know if I should be concerned or proud. I love the show, but it's not really meant for 2 year olds.she calls the crew of Planet Express a "family".
