    Avoid responsibility without authority. It sucks to be held responsible for people and results, but have no authority to make changes when necessary. I was once asked to be a supervisor over some CSRs, but Psycho Bitch Boss wouldn't tell me what they were being paid, let me see their personnel information, or give many any authority to affect changes. Thanks, but no.

    There is thunder and lightning in the distance. Close enough that, even though it is 2:10 in the afternoon, I can see flashes of light through the window even when the lightning isn't in direct site.

    The roofers on the house across the street are still working away (the felt paper is laid down, so it would be safe from a bit of water if they had to climb down for a bit).

    The siding guys on the house behind me are still removing the aluminum siding from that house.

    Doesn't seem too bright to me.
