That must be from the deleted scenes.

<Movie Voice>In a world where one brave @MeltedMetalGlob must fight for his family against time-traveling showtune listening cybernetic Nazis from the 23rd century. His only friends are a young yet impossibly wise street urchin with a catchy name, a sidekick with a significant physical problem that will only happen at unlikely moments when convenient for the paper thin plot, and a attractive female that will show enough sideboob/underboob for the men until that one pointless "special scene" she finally loses her already transparent shirt in the climatic female fight scene under the waterfall. (and of course have a sensitive side for the ladies) </movie voice> Throw in pointless explosions and CGI and you have an Academy Award all the way. I hear a classic, or at least a kickass movie poster if it ever comes together in my head properly. :)

    I'm getting drunk...

The ex texting you belligerently out of the blue after 6 months will do that.

Hell, I didn't even know if she was dead or not...blissfully so. (which btw, is possible considering her health...and yes, it is sad that I think the ignorance of this is blissful  )

Found new wind on a project over the weekend. I'm hoping it carries me through this week.

When I told my husband about it, he said it sounded interesting. High praise!

Also, almost had an embarrassing moment that I will semi blame on @Poetry. As I was getting off the elliptical, I knocked my phone on the floor in the middle of listening to FEMM's "Fxxk Boyz Get Money." Thank goodness the headphones plug did not come out, as the song was right in the middle of the chorus.

Had a fun training this morning. Now there's a lot of work to do to put things in place, especially since I'm apparently busy tomorrow and the next day.

I'm so excited!!! Tomorrow I get to spend all afternoon with one of my favorite kiddos. I think we're going to go to the library.

Worked a fatal crash last night. A 65 mph road, no center guardrail. Guy crossed over in his sedan, going head on into an SUV carrying a mom and her two year old daughter. Mom had a broken arm, daughter had a broken leg (they both looked good at the hospital). Guy's car caught on fire, but it was probably the crash that killed him. Two other troopers arrived a minute after the crash was reported. Their fire extinguishers didn't have any effect on the car fire. How much you want to bet alcohol was involved? Coroner will take several weeks with the blood panel and cause of death.

I like listening to my daughter play while I work. I think this new arrangement will work out well.

I just had a fantastic two days watching a friend's kiddo. We colored, read books, played Carcasonne, made pretzels, went to the library, walked the cats--all kinds of stuff.

    Two announcements...

    1. I'm good at being alone...and enjoy it at times. Although, I'm a very social person...and I prefer to be with others.
But I've learned to be alone. Keep myself occupied, keep myself interested.
I don't "have to" be with others
This way, I can set my own terms. I don't have to be out. I can't be held hostage by the "need" to be with someone or others.
I like going out. I love conversation. I enjoy crowds. I mingle with the best of them. Definitely an extrovert.
However, it's nice to enjoy the silence too. Enjoy the thoughts in my own head.
Alone is not a bad thing.
Some have to learn this. Practice it.
      -----------
    2. Got an offer for a perm position at the gig I'm at.
      Better money yet...and excellent benefits.
I'm going to sign...but I just want to clarify the title/role...want to make sure that HR didn't screw up (which has happened before...neglect, miscommunication, etc)
Why? Because what they have me under is what I came in as...and it's not fully correct, I'm doing so much more, not just the limited role. And it will prevent confusion, misinterpretation and assumption.
Not only that, but the execs won't know to take advantage of my skills to make more money. (but hey, what do I know???)
Now, I will still sign...because I want some stability to do things in my personal life...invest in that instead. (College, Business, Dating, Travel, R&R, etc...)
Maybe it will be nice to be just another cog for awhile.
There is a price to power and being on the cutting edge.
