I don't know when it happened (probably gradually), but I have for the most part stopped reading the news, and I think I'm better for it.

But if you don't read the news, how will I get my Canadian politics?!

Yesterday I went to six pawn shops and four thrift stores, and didn't buy a single thing, even though the Salvation Army store had all books, HB & PB, for .50 each.

I did find a cool Peavey Predator bass (Crafted is USA, basically Peavey's version of the Fender Precision bass but with a 'hot' pick-up) with a nice oiled mahogany finish. I didn't find even one Telecaster or Telecopy.

I don't know why I woke up at 5, but I did, so I've been reading smutty manga and drinking coffee for nearly 2 hours.

    Life is good.

Have you ever been read erotica to by Stephen Hawking's voice synthesizer?
I was messing around with a new ebook reader app and one of the options was for it to read to you.
The book I chose was an erotic one. Just imagine a passionless voice reading about passion. :p

It was a rhetorical question. I have all of the ideas.

Here's the section that I had it read....

"of her ecstatic emotion; several times we seemed to stop by mutual consent, and lay for a while enjoying those heavenly sensations. After thus delaying the final crisis to the uttermost, the moment came when the life flood could no longer be kept back, and our simultaneous emission drowned the organs of love so profusely that our thighs were deluged as we continued to churn in the creamy overflow."

I was grinning halfway through, but at "deluged" I cracked up.
Just the mechanical way it said it was just funny to me.

Well, then, you should share them and I'll see if they line up with my ideas...

That passage had me cringing. Hopefully Hawking's voice made it funny!
