I put off reading this Korean manwha for a long time because 1) I'm really not that familiar with Korean culture beyond their food, and 2) they read from left-to-right, and since I read a LOT of manga, my brain kind of automatically starts reading right-to-left (and I realize that for most people, that's backwards, but whatever). Compared to most of the yaoi manga I read, it's very tame in terms of what it depicts, but the story is excellent!

There's a hot guy at the gym who keeps looking over at me. After establishing that no, I don't have anything on my face, I decided I must just be that cute.

Or "nice ass", pretty much interchangeable to those of us with a Y chromosome.

I was not wearing my ass pants today, and I was on the recumbent at the time I noticed him slyly checking me out. But yes, I do have a fantastic ass.

Yay for filing taxes.....or not. Hopefully I can see actual money back this year just to help pay what I still owe the IRS.

Got the money back from the IRS.
    It was nice.
I did better than I expected.
Thought it was going to be a real CF with all the things that happened last year but it was better than I thought.
I went to the AARP and they did them for free.
I guess this getting old thing does have a few advantages.

ooo...I pulled a solution out of my "toolkit" and previous work that had stumped the best of the best today.

Not that it will really be known...but it's nice to know I've still got the stuff.

Frankly, it's just nice to get the damn load test app going and a decent verifiable test out of it.
I'm sweating getting some good metrics out of it...the big-wigs on the client-side and the execs on the corporate-side are all asking about it.

Now, let's hope they've given me enough time to fix or optimize things if it's not quite up to snuff. Just a national dead-line...and a congressional hearing if it busts.
But we all know computers are "magic"...everything is "easy" to do in no time.

Honestly, I just want a nice woman to date. That's what's on my mind.

I am so full. Dinner was awesome.

  15. Gonna be in Great Falls, Virginia, next Thursday, for my eldest sister's 80th birthday. 10 hour drive on Wednesday, crash at my niece's, then party all day Thursday. 10 hours back on Friday and working Saturday. Unfortunately, no time for wandering around the area, trying to hunt down TFP folk. :(

Holy brightness, Batman. Lollipop is ridiculously bright, no dark mode, all white backgrounds on notifications, screens, etc. Crimony hell, I'm going blind. I appreciate the speed increases, but this thing is quirky as hell.

Have you tried Lux? It's a backlight app that I've been using for a long time because I need the "night" mode or else the AMOLED screens are too bright.

Lux Auto Brightness - Android Apps on Google Play

I paid the money for it a few years ago on my Droid 3 and I've used it on every device I've had since then.

I use f.lux on all of my machines except my phone. It's more than that menu screens and notifications all have a white background now, rather than black. I prefer the reverse contrast, it's easier to read for me. Plus, there was no option for a black wallpaper, only turquoise. Therefore, I took a dark picture as a workaround and set it as my wallpaper, ha ha.
