Picking a real estate agent to help us find a house shouldn't be too hard, right?

I've been studying up on some aspects of buying a home: learning the neighbourhood's qualities (crime rate, proximity to services, air and water quality, commuting time, and so on). The more I know, the less appealing it is to think of bringing a real estate agent in. I mean, how do you trust a stranger with something this important? Good luck. If you have any tips and/or tricks, please share!

 

So far I, mid 50s, haven't experienced the ear hair, but my nostrils and tweezers get together every few days.

Edit--FTR I think that she is very attractive.

 

I don't follow anime, but for some reason it keeps popping into my mind while I'm reading the novel Across The Nightingale Floor. I keep thinking "This would be great as anime." Maybe it, or the Tails of the Otori triology has been done; I'll research it.

Apparantly the movie rights to ATNF were sold even before the book was published in 2002. That's at least 13 years ago. I would think that with the popularity of 'historial mystical action fiction' (that's my term) a movie would've been made.

 

In the previous TFP (maybe this one???) somebody posted an image of Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcet merged. It was in poor taste since they both had very recently died, but it was funny. My quick web search didn't find the image.

 

I've never found her to be unattractive. The horse thing is mean.

 

Of horse it is..errrr, I mean of course it is. I don't really mean anything by it. Just being an internet meany.

I used to have a crush on her from the movies "Somewhere, Tomorrow", "Flight of the Navigator", "Footloose" and "Striking Distance".

Then Hollywood got ahold of her and "glamorized" her, and just sucked all the cuteness from her.
Now she just looks like she's been rode hard and put away wet.

So looking forward to the next few days *rolls eyes*. I think 8 hours of actual sleep by Monday morning is possible, but might get by on less. I did have the choice of saying " no" to the Sunday dayshift that was offered though, and tiredness may curtail whatever limited interest I have in choosing to voluntarily watch this NFL supergame for the first time. I really hate television commercial these days (especially the Superbowl ads) and would be more inclined to watch if I can skip past all of the "buy our crap now!" spiels to just see the overpaid athletes hit each other on the playing field.
