    Las Vegas has an Ozzie-Harriet Avenue. Somebody who was a delegate to the 2012 Republican National Convention lives there.

    Nearby streets in the same development include Burns-Allen Avenue (presumably for George Burns and Gracie Allen), Bela Lugosi Street, Fred Astaire Street, Peter Lorre Street, Clara Bow Avenue, Gary Cooper Street, Charlie Chaplin Avenue, Errol Flynn Street, Marlon Brando Avenue, Buster Brown Avenue, and Za Zu Pitts Avenue.

    On the map, several of those names are misspelled; I hope that's just a map error. Otherwise, it's "Bella" Lugosi.

    Google Street View only touches the edges of the neighborhood, but you can see a couple of street signs.

    Niko, our yellow lab, will go out at say 11:00pm and might or might not take a pee. At 5:00am he refuses to go out with the other dogs, and will wait an hour or so before he goes out. He then takes a pee that last for two minutes. If only I had that much control over my mid-50s bladder.

    He's still not up.

    The last time he was out was around 10pm last night.

    If we cook something for breakfast, he gets up about the time he hears the bacon or sausage getting taken off the stove (no reason to get up early enough to have to sit and wait for it to finish cooking, right?). Otherwise he's a late sleeper. If we are both leaving we will make him get up and go outside. But if it is a day where we are home, he often won't get up until he hears food, whether that is breakfast or lunch. Since we didn't cook breakfast this morning, I guess he's satisfied staying in his warm, queen-sized bed. :p

    He just got up. Still hasn't wanted to go outside. I think he knows how cold out it is. He loves snow and ice, but not sub-zero wind chills. :p
