  1. Enterprise didn't grab me when first run. At the time, I felt it seemed a bit forced...trying to milk the franchise. Plus, I couldn't shake this Quantum Leap echo. Maybe I'll give it another chance.

At least Dr. Beckett leaped into the future in the final episode ;) . Archer must have been related with that kind of resemblance.

The third season where they are trying to survive without backup from Starfleet is well done.
You can certainly see the effect of 9/11 on some of the storylines but I can say that's not always a bad thing.
The time cold war is an interesting concept and Dr, Phlox is one of the better alien characters.
I think the burn out from all the other Star Trek shows probably hurt the show more than the quality of the show itself.

I hear Patrick Stewart is actually an immortal who was born in 1460 and started in Shakespeare productions when they first ran. Apparently his first death was after visiting France and trying some questionable French food.
Your Star Wars comment sounds like you view the upcoming Star Wars film as the 7th film rather than the first in 30 years after a long absence.

Episodes 1 was horrible. Episode 2 was regrettable. Episode 3 was okay.

I suffered through the first two, and avoided the third one. I would watch Wing Commander again (haven't seen it since it was in the theatre) than sit through that one; saw the first 8 minutes on youtube and said hell no. I did enjoy Wing Commander. It was based on good computer games, knew it was just eye candy and did not try to be anything more.
To be fair....the pod race in Episode 1 is awesome, and was and still is one of the best scenes to test your speaker system along with the lobby scene in Matrix. Anakin's whiny tone is forgivable even understandable when he is a younger, but the whiny bitch in Episode 2 needs a gentle smack from a brick to help him out, right after a loving blow from a light saber is given to this fellow: (I did this back in 2011/2012 as part of a Fark contest, some of you may remember when it was posted on here originally)

I've been waiting weeks for the latest chapter of Noragami to be scanlated. The scanlation group is a couple chapters behind. They FINALLY released 45 today.

It then took me 10 minutes to read it :(

I think I might be a bass player in a band. I'm not sure yet. I guess it depends on whether I can pull it off.

In other news, this mead has me buzzing like crazy. Goes down smooth and is 8.5%.

I just want to turn things in and play outside with my girl. Maybe I will.

My nephews always want to play the Wii when they are at my house. I never play it, ever.

My wife is going down for a visit tomorrow, I boxed it up and told her to give it to them.

Monday, Amazon will deliver a hockey game for the older, who is a hockey fanatic, and Mario Kart for the younger, who likes all thing car/racing.

I hope you're gonna play a real bass, not one of those electric guitar things.;)

Sorry. I should have said "electric bass."

Either way, the even the double bass is a bit of a bastard instrument.

  17. You mean one of these?

I mentioned this song after seeing a photo in Film Shooters group I joined on facebook and have to share this now just 'cause. Not the film footage one with the epic 80's hair and clothes but it will do.
