Thanks for the wishes, it actually really did make the day easier that the in-person people forgot. Then I didn't have to think about it all day.

12 hours of work, 3 hour chat with the hubs last night, woke up with violent migraine this morning.
Had to call out for the first time since March... Ugh. I need these damn hours.
Going to try to sleep it off with some lovin' from Mr Tramadol and hit at least my later afternoon kids.
Not cool, Universe, but I'm listening to the "you need more sleep and to effin' chill, noodle" complaints of my body.

 

I am roaming the halls of TFP once again, peeking in the windows, jiggling the doorknobs, making the dogs bark.

 

This Backstreet video is not bad if I am not seeing the video. Always have liked their harmonies. The playlist (all videos downloaded from youtube) just switched to Enjoy the Silence from Depeche Mode, which is one of those albums that I should buy on CD eventually. On second thought, who needs a CD when this option is available?
And now Duran Duran is playing, I should save some version of this playlist.

 

Speaking of birthdays, one that stands out for me was way back when. I was hanging out in a county jail down here and since my birthday is Jan 1st, we had a full house of hungover partygoers. The jailer that brought our lunch called me to the door and handed me a extra piece of cornbread with a candle in it.
