I'll keep that in mind, and do a search right now. thx (sukuma wiki)

It's close to what I made last night, but I think I didn't cook it long enough. I used garlic and oil, some beef stock, salt and pepper, and then ate it with some hot sauce.

Aww dang. Ha ha. Yes, that's it. You definitely have to cook it long enough. I also sauteƩ with a little acid (white wine, rice wine vinegar, etc) to help break it down. I you don't add extra liquid, you'll crisp it up, ha ha.

In one of those 'I appreciate technology from years past but also current tech" moments today, I started typing a letter for tax correspondence on my typewriter but am switching to OpenOffice.org on this newer typewriter running windows 7. I am actually going to reboot to Ubuntu 14.04 because it plays the same video playlist, looks prettier, has a better interface, and has the exact same software options. In my case that means I will not be using any of the numerous Adobe products installed, not interested in trying them in WINE when win 7 is available.
However I do plan on do some writing tonight on the typewriter. My scheme is to use the typewriter for the first draft and fix any typos/etc when I transfer the first draft to the computer. I have never heard of a typewriter dropping or breaking and destroying all of the papers you have typed, but know first hand what can happen to digital files that are not backed up if a hard drive fails or flash drive is broken.

Maybe the cow had that for breakfast before he made that last trip to the mysterious place of no return.

It was a baby cow. He only had grass. I don't get it. Maybe my insomnia has affected my nose.

What violin(s) do you have? Do you also play mandolin?

My wife was very pleased to discover that much of the fingering she learned on her folk mando applied (well, not exactly) to the violin.

No mandolin, just the violin. It's a Belgian instrument made in 1989 that I've had since 1991 (I think), and I love it dearly.

Actually watched the tail end of a rollover crash on the interstate. Looked up, saw a cloud of dust and a car rolling out of it. Driver was physically not too bad, but took a blow to the head and had some short term memory loss. At the hospital he kept asking me the same five questions over and over again.

I have a new ribbon for my typewriter, damn thing quit last night while I was actually writing something so I had to switch to my laptop for the first draft. Still prefer the typewriter for the first take I think, I feel more connected when writing and distractions like "ooh, youtube!" or "I better fix those typos right now" are gone.
