Pointless Announcements

Found a copy of NBA Live 2K10 for the PS3 on the monthly bargain bin table yesterday at the mall.
After playing a game where I was slaughtered but just learning how to move/dunk/etc, I created my own character (7'5"/320 lbs/damn near max on everything) and then cleared some roster space on the Trailblazers Roster and went shopping by releasing some players on other teams. This has the 2008/2009 roster so this Portland team had Brandon Roy, Aldridge, Greg Oden, Steve Blake, etc. After some tinkering that would have destroyed cap room instantly in real life my new roster looked like this:

Yao Ming

Brandon Roy (had to keep him)
my "Big Dude" player

not surprisingly I lost badly playing them against on the 'all-star' setting, especially playing as the untweaked New Jersey Nets that had a less than stellar roster and record in 08-09.

 

Writing tutorials takes some time. Egads. I kept tweaking things, then said "screw it, I just should do it this way". Then I get to do the conversion from Photoshop to the GIMP and write out those too.

 

I agreed to a grave shift a few hours ago myself. Not sure I understand this "day off" concept, or perhaps my bank account doesn't at least.

 

My husband is at the DMB concert tonight.
I am NOT JEALOUS IN THE SLIGHTEST.
I opted to stay with the trend of saving money and not going to the opening night of the tour.
He got a free ticket. I has a sad.

 

Also, I am drinking a chocolate covered raspberry (half framboise, half Young Double Chocolate stout) and am eating part of a dark chocolate bar with almonds and dried cherries. And I don't give a fuck. Slainté, bitches!

 

Some day, my lifeless body is gonna be found lying face-down in a puddle of Nutella.

This would be in the "didn't need to be made but that hasn't stopped me yet category"........

 

That doesn't surprise me. Makes as much sense to me as thinking that Dreyfuss starred in Blue Thunder. Airwolf was still a cooler bird, unfortunately that helicopter crashed in the early 90's killing all onboard after it was converted to commercial use after the show.
