    The 5 brothers take out after the gambler that killed their pa, finally catch up to him at a watering hole...
    they all shoot him down, then end up all being killed due to a poisoned watering hole.

    Great movie. I got to teach it this year. One of the things I love about my job is seeing kids be hesitant and then just falling in love with stuff. We watched both Maltese Falcon and Double Indemnity as part of our noir unit, and the kids really enjoyed both. I had several students say they had been hesitant about noir, but now they wanted to go watch more.

    Yesterday I was dying for the UPS guy to get here so I could set up my record player. They usually show up around 12:30-1:30pm. He came at 4:45pm. Wasn't the regular driver, so I'm assuming he's out this week and his route is split up among other drivers, or it is a fill in that goes a different way. Today, when I am not as anxious for him to show up, he's here at 10:15. Figures.

    Those days are even worse, because you HAVE to be around to sign for it. I have one coming tomorrow and am not sure I can make it home in time. #firstworldproblem

    With the other package, it can be safely left on my porch, I just wanted it quicker. :p
