We've reached the point in the book production cycle where I tend to make more "fuck it" editorial decisions. Some things are so minor that you just have to let them go. It eats away at the perfectionist in me though.

It's going to drive me to teach myself book design.

TFP just awarded me my final trophy, for having posted 1,000 messages. You might call it the Logorrhea Cup.

    It feels ... anticlimactic.

Apparently I'm missing my small bottle of that particular shade. It was lurking in some box in my office when I packed for the move, and got put into a location other than where the rest of my nail polish collection was. I thought I knew where it was, but I was wrong :( Otherwise that would be a good choice.

Haven't thought of that film in some time. That reminds me, I mentioned The Rocketeer not that long ago to a younger co-worker and they called it a "old film". Since when is 1993 (or so, that is off the top of my head) constitute "old"?

It was 1991, and that was the same year this Apple computer was released (to compete, in part, with the Commodore 64):

I just did a very, very dark blue last week, so I'm looking to go a little lighter. I may just leave my nails buffed this week and enjoy the natural look

That is the first computer I really remember. We had a Commodore 64 before that, but the Mac Classic II was worlds apart! My dad brought it home from school for the summer, and I fell in love.

The Rocketeer blows the recent Captain America out of the water. Hard to compete with a young gorgeous Jennifer Connelly, totally awesome completely unrealistic flight suit that that borrows heavily (AKA "Copies nearly completely") from Commander Cody* for the perfect look, and an climatic battle scene on a Zepelin.

*That would be this for the younger ones out there that may have missed this classic bit of cinema. I have this very serial on VHS.

I agree the The Rocketeer was a great movie and well ahead of its time.
I love that kind of period piece super hero movie, which was why I enjoyed Captain America by the same director.
I'm really curious to see how Agent Carter works out.
