Damn, the local news makes me realize that some people complain about really dumb shit.

 

I'm on top of things now. If the past several weeks are any indication, it's time once again for my inbox to fill with more work.

Some of you will say I jinxed it, but I say it wouldn't have mattered either way.

So much for being able to take this evening off.

I'm off tomorrow and Saturday because of my brother's wedding. All I can think is how I'm going to lose two days.

I'll also have to rush home the morning after the wedding to do more work on Sunday than I'd initially planned.

 

You totally jinxed it, or you didn't account for all the possibilities.

I need to work on packing hubby's lunch. He's so spoiled these days.

 

I obviously did account for all the possibilities because I pretty much called it.

In evaluating what has landed in my inbox, it's not as bad as it could have been under normal circumstances. Of course, maybe I'm jinxing it again. Maybe I'll get even more while I'm out of town tomorrow. I'll have to see what I find when I get home on Sunday.

Also: When I know I'm in the clear with the large projects, I'm totally booking a shiatsu massage. My mid back and neck have been tight/achy. I need some release.

Well, certain areas are easier to reach than others.

 

I made a decision on summer child care. I hope my choice also decides to choose us.

 

That scar is a part of what makes her so attractive. It really is a combination of looks and acting/mannerisms. For whatever reason, I often find "icy bitch" really attractive.

I like some fairy tale retellings. (Not Disney.) I first found my love of retellings in Angela Carter. There are some interesting-looking ones out there that I haven't check out but probably should.

The show does have silly points, but I'm constantly impressed by how they put the pieces together. It captures the imagination, and that's what keeps me watching.
