Pointless Announcements

And THAT, my dear @snowy, is but one of the reasons that I admire you so much.

 

My wife & I just made about two dozen ginger snap cookies. They turned out absolutely horrible, and I'm going to eat as many of them as possible to save others from the possibility of having to taste them. It's a thankless job, but someone has to do it.

 

It's a shame we're not a bit closer, @Chris Noyb . I could've helped you destroy the evidence.

I went to the Flower Show in Philly today, it smelled so great with all the flowers...oh and the wine and whiskey tasting area made it even better...

My conscience would bother me forever if I shared those disgusting ginger snaps with anyone, especially my fellow TFPers. That reminds me......I have a duty to perform (deep sigh), and we have a fresh gallon of milk in the fridge. If I don't survive the deadly contaminants most certainly contained in the cookies, please play Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here in my memory.

I have two reports to write, a few papers, and then a bottle of Simi Cab, a fireplace, and a hot bath calling my name. I don't need Fat Tuesday parades when the wind chill is 22*. Nope, I don't!

 

I've never been to the Mardi Gras in Galveston, but have celebrated MG in NO a couple of times. One thing on my bucket list is to attend Carnival in Rio de Janeiro.

 

The LC is panicking. They just cancelled Motor Gras at noon. I'm still in my bed-cocoon. It tells me something when my space heater set to 70 hasn't shut off since I turned it on last night at 9.
