In other news, my friend is a tow truck driver and this is what he found inside of a truck he picked up today.

Damn, I love the South!

 

It's 3:45am PST. I'm up with a little girl who is a night owl.

I'm trying to get her to sleep while DaddySquirrel is sleeping. He goes back to work in a few hours and i don't want him to be totally dead tired. I'll at least get to sleep when she sleeps.

 

I understand the joke.

Unfortunately I'm also living it.

 

It's gonna be cold here again. Yay!

 

Old my ass. Try having great nieces & nephews graduating from high school ,

with no plans to attend college .

 

Or last year, where they didn't finalize the rules until the game year was over.

 

I've found a few tricks that help. First, I refuse to accept the fact that my oldest niece has finished grad school and is now working. I also reject the reality that her younger sister is in her 3rd year of college.

Second, I find that it helps to spend as little time as possible in front of mirrors.

 

Operating on three hours of sleep.

She's sooo worth it.

My sisters had their kids very young, as did my nieces, and several of my great nieces are old enough to have children. Suppose my wife at age 49 had our child?

I can just hear it. "Are those your babies?" "One is, the other one is my great great cousin."

 

Finally bought Skyrim. Went for the Standard edition without the dlc because I want to try Fallout: New Vegas in a few weeks, and I'll need *some* sleep.
