    Went for an overdue check-up and managed to make my doc happy with a loss of 26 pounds since the last check-up. Total loss over 2 years up to about 50 pounds.

    It's a tough thing to do, be proud.

    In other news, there's nothing quite like a super-hot bath with a dab of almond bath gel from The Body Shop to really help soothe the aches, pains, and dry skin from this wacky weather. 79*F predicted for Saturday. I had three nosebleeds today at the crazy school I work at twice a week... Which had no heat. It was 53* in the hallway, 28* outside. Every time I sneezed, it started over. :/
    Louisiana is weird. How's that for pointless?

    Edit: Omg Omg Omg, I was WRONG! itchy scratchy itchy scratchy! Apparently the awesome body butter I put on this morning had a chemical reaction with the bath gel! Zen = gone.

    I should go do stuff. Did some writing this morning, and I might come back to my other story, the one I started just before Christmas. It's kind of stuck at 49,171 words. I did go back and work on another story--this one an epic saga that I have no idea how long it is going to be, as the climax is years in the future from where I am now in the story, and that's at 42,611 words. I also worked on a one-shot (a short story) that is at 6,300ish right now, and will likely end up being around 10,000.

    I've been reading a lot of fanfiction lately. I found a repository of high-quality stuff and just kind of binged. While I don't write slash, I occasionally go on tears where that's all I want to read, and this was one of those times. Must. Stop.
