I went out for my 2nd birthday brunch today, this time with my my bro. Had a crow's nest which was sinfully yummy.
Ah yes, tis the season to pack on poundage.

 

My 70-some year old neighbor had her 70-some year old brother rake the leaves on my front lawn today while I was at work. Guess that is what I get for mowing her lawn all summer.

 

Since I was just conversing with my bro over lunch (twice a year, on our birthdays) about our widowed 81-y.o. dad and his awesome neighbours let me offer thanks to you too, Quint Eastwood, for being a great neighbour. We live 750 miles from him and to me it's so heartwarming how people there look out for one another. Our dad is the friendly old guy/surrogate granddad who lets the neighbour kids sled down his hugely tilted front yard (now that Maryland gets snow every winter) and just an all-round friendly guy. It does go 'round doesn't it?

 

Her kids (who live locally) show up about twice a year and are ignorant assholes. I try to do for her what I would want someone to do for my grandmom if she was in her situation.

Who woulda thunk? Not everyone from NJ is a jerk

I believe my head cold is finally done. I can only hope.

 

Might watch IP Man and IP Man 2 today instead of going to the movie theater to watch Immortals.

I pondered watching IP Man on Netflix instant streaming this morning. Chose to watch TOS: "The Tholian Web" and part of ST:ENTPRISE "In a Mirror Darkly Pt. 1" to see the Defiant in both univeses and how the bodies are placed the same in both episodes.

in other news, My 3 year old indicated she needed a fresh diaper with that certain smell and was happy to grab one for me when I asked her. She had to get one for her doll first and apply it along with a wipe. How cute.

 

just spent hours making a point-by point response to the 13+4 points or crackpot evidence in the 9/11: what really happened but lost it all in a firefox crash before hitting the post button. as fun as it was all effort just left me.

 

That was clearly caused by aliens visiting this flat earth of ours that ran into the mysterious ice wall by the north pole....oh wait what was I saying again?.......oh there are are those nice men in the white coats now, have to go now.

 

That was a good nap.

 

Still working on my paper, but I have to wait for my pants to dry before I can go to the grocery store. Scheduling error...
