    I can't decide whether to keep going with this scene or leave it how it is and move on to the next significant point in the narrative.

    Sometimes, though, writing the smutty parts is the best part.

    I've found in the past that it's frequently easier to subtract than to add. So I'd be inclined to put in the extra action. Then, if it seems to be too much, you can always pare down in the next draft.

    Sometimes, you have to see the full effect of the all of writing to get a better feel for whether it flows or not. Don't you think?
