Pointless Announcements

Going to play with my "new" 1990 Canon Rebel S today. Camera cost $12 via ebay, new battery nearly $10, and the nifty fifty normally on the DSLR that it will be using was substantially more.
The 1987ish Minolta does not seem to want to play nice for some reason but it did only cost $14 w/ shipping and makes a nice addition to the collection in any event.

 

Yesterday I made the in-this-city-almost-unavoidable mistake of entrusting the British with the culinary arts.

Once again, it has come back to haunt me.

Stop with the terrible food culture.

Just so ya know, we have a 'song stuck in my head' thread. We have a number of music-themed threads as the (maybe overused, but true) saying, ' music is the soundtrack of our lives' is pretty spot on.

I hate vomiting. The last time was from mixing alcohols in California. I hate it so much that it sticks with me.

I tell my DLSR to shoot in B&W and it stores the file in colour. Must be a thing when you shoot in the only option possible - RAW. Shooting in JPG is akin to driving a a Bugatti Veyron and never exceeding 40 miles per hour.

 

I wish I kept track of my puking statistics.
If I had a trading card that is one of stats I would have on the back
broken down by season.

It was a fantastic night
After that 1+ hours in the hot tub with water jetting from all sides ....
in the dressing room I said I wish I didn't have to wear all this dress and just wear a onsie to go back lol the other girl there said "that is exactly what I am thinking"
I am definitely going back after my wife returns

 

I've just been browsing English candies and other assorted sweet foodstuffs on Amazon.
Has anybody here had a blackcurrant drink before? Any good?

 

Dunno, but in Europe they have blackcurrant Gatorade.
