    The other day we rushed out in the morning with no time for breakfast. We accidentally left this on the counter:

    Stanley is just tall enough to see and smell the edge of the counter while on all four feet. The bacon was 6" from the edge, if not less. He knows he is not allowed to eat off the counter.

    Three hours later we got home and the bacon was still there.

    He was properly rewarded:
