Pointless Announcements

Oh, hey, this is fucking amusing. Today in class we are learning a formula to determine a person's age in years, months and days and so I proceed to figure everyone's - my kids, my parents, my brother and sister...and myself. And I learn that I am actually a year younger than I have been thinking...for at least the last year. I have no idea when I fucked it all up or why I never noticed before, but I am actually 48, not 49. That's pretty fucked up.

 

I keep thinking I'm 47 myself. That will be next year... I do this all the time

 

Just add the year back into your "bank" and don't skip to 50 next year. I have to add, my birth certificate is one year off from the year I was born.

 

How does that happen?

Myself, I have been stuck at about 17 for the past 33 years.

 

I fit two twin mattresses in my two-door Golf TDI hatchback today.
It was freaking hilarious.

 

17 is a good age to be stuck at. I was doing genealogy and sent away for my birth certificate. All of the rest of my paperwork has the correct year. They (the state) said they could fill out an amendment, but that would mean I would have to send two pieces of paper if I were to get my passport. I've never had a passport, so I don't know if that would end up being a problem. Needless to say my mother was surprised.

You should get a passport, get two in case you lose one. traveling is well worth the cost.

I have done loads of traveling, never with a passport though. Would be different to try visiting St. Maarten or France again as an actual civilian.

 

I saw grumpyolddude from a 20 foot distance today. There were cars behind me and I couldn't stop. I was bummed.
