I personally find these events as useless as tits on a bull, but can understand why they continue and the popularity.
I must have missed the part where contestants and/or winners must be lily white and of pure-bred European descent.

I did 45 minutes on an elliptical this morning and had some coffee. Wasn't awesome.

Greek and Lebanese cuisine in nowhere Louisiana. I get a medal for this one.

 

There's a quarter mile radius lockdown going on with nearly every single agency for at least 20 municipality, county, state, branches all on site. Roads closed to the plaza and 3 office buildings being evacuated but no one knows why. My husband is smack dab in the middle of this in the biggest building and just called to say he is safe but had to go.

The complex waived the deposit for the second cat and the maintenance guy ended up nailing down all of my carpet strips for me, so things are looking up.

*(&^ Motorcycle season may have ended for me. I passed my motorcycle skills test on Sunday by driving 12' on a muddy 2x12. I won't be doing that shit again.
